Matti Vazeen, MD

Matti Vazeen, M.D. has served Northern Nevada communities since 1999. He has published articles in scientific journals on laser vision correction and has lectured at national meetings on cataract surgery.

Dr. Vazeen, a board-certified ophthalmologist, has performed over 25,000 cataract surgeries and specializes in refractive cataract surgery.

Dr. Vazeen served his transitional internship and three year ophthalmology residency at LSU-Oschner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana, and received his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.

He is Past President of the Nevada Academy of Ophthalmology and, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
